Cedar Tree

The Cedar Tree shopping center’s $12.9M redevelopment is complete. Previously a neglected area, the shopping center now shines after the revitalization efforts. The upgrades are attracting new businesses that otherwise would not have considered the area, like Brewbakers, a neighborhood family bar and grill.

Belton Gateway Phase 2

Infrastructure, pad site preparation and road reconstruction for the $63 million Phase Two of Belton Gateway are underway. The first restaurant Kneaders is now open and five new retailers are on target to open in early 2018.

Kneaders Bakery is located on the southeast corner of the 47- acre, $136 million mixed-use development, and crews are preparing pad sites for Ross Dress for Less, Marshalls, Party City, Petco, and Five Below.

Marshalls, Petco, Ross, Party City and Five Below are the first market leading retailers to build.

Developed by Christie Development, Belton Gateway is located just west of U.S. 49 Highway along Y Highway. U.S. 49 is a high traffic count interstate with almost 63,000 cars per day, and Y Highway’s traffic count is about 20,000 cars per day.

Belton Gateway Phase 1

The project’s $70 million Phase One included a 58,000 square foot Academy Sports and Outdoors store, 55,000 square foot Hobby Lobby, and two multiple-tenant retail buildings that are home to Belton Family Dental Care, Fazoli’s, and Cricket Wireless. Phase One has potential for construction of a 20,000 square foot hotel.


Menard’s is continuing to thrive. The store remains busy throughout the week and into weekends. We are very proud to have Menard’s as a prime storefront here in Belton. With an initial investment of $7.7 Million Dollars we expect a great deal of traffic to Menards. Menards is housed in a 253K SF building which will serve as a storefront

and a warehouse. This growing chain has now created over 200 Jobs in Belton & Surrounding area residents. Menards currently has six outlots for sale.
